Amazon is ready to launch Delivery Drones by 2015.
Wait WHAAAAT????!! WHAT?? This is shopping revolution!! This just changing everything!! Literaly, EVERYTHING. It is a huge invention. It is a plus on one hand, like when you need, lets say a Birthday present for same day and for unbeatable price (a Dream come true!:) and you've been soooo busy. Here you go, Drone is at you doorstep....Gosh, i haven't finished my coffee yet!
On the other side, department stores and other retailers are going to be hit hard by this. Forget that people are spending less and less at the actual stores, because retailers can not compete with prices and endless deals that online giants, such as Amazon, offer. The only trump card that malls had was - The Speed. You need it now - you go get it. But with Drones, you don't have to wait even a day for wanted delivery! 30 min and its over! You would probably waste more time in traffic, getting to the mall anyways....
So, yup, as crazy as it sounds, this reality of Today. Soon, we probably won't leave a house or have an actual conversation face to face with a real person at all...We'll just be waiting for a huge Drone deliveries, print our 3D meals and talk to Siri about upcoming getaway to Mars.
